Rio de Janeiro

the experience

Think of tasty African food. Now, add a friendly place, where the owners treat you like you're a member of their family. This is how the African Dining Experience looks like. The dinner takes place at Dida Bar, one of the most traditional black owned restaurants in town, where many personalities like Angela Davis had visited. Once a month, Dida organizes a special menu, the meal features the diversity of African food. More than a dinner, this is an opportunity to learn about culture, food and afrobrazilian people.

keep in mind

We know in many cultures it's common to dress up formal for dinner. In Rio, people are pretty informal, so feel free to dress the way you feel comfortable. Our Tour Experience is shared with other people, if you want a private tour, contact us!

Tour time: 7pm - 10pm usually happens on the second wednesday of the month.  *for holidays season ( Christmas, NYE, Carnival) message us before booking.
