Day 01    Welcome Dinner

Welcome to Brazil!

Minutes after arriving at the Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (SSA) you will be greeted by our team. It's time to feel the energy of the city. Open yourself up to this experience! All of us will get together for the welcome dinner, tasting the Bahian cuisine.

Day 03  Historical Tour

Salvador was the first Brazil Capital, we will spend the day visiting its main cultural and historical sites, including hidden places that only locals know.

We'll have a buffet of local dishes as lunch, then up the tempo learning the sounds of drums in a lively percussion class.

Today is up to you.

With endless adventures awaiting, now is your opportunity to explore the area on your own. Experience the beaches, taste the food, meet the locals, but most of all, have fun!

Day 04     Quilombo

Quilombos are communities formed by black people that escaped from slavery. Forming all over Brazil they became powerful, most famously known being Palmares. Perserving black culture, religion, food, music and more they also fought against the colonizers. Situated in the rural areas, it is not easy to visit one, so this is an unforgatable chance to get to know the history of one of the oldest black movements in Brazil.

Day 06     Yoruba roots

&  Giving back

Africa meets South America right in Bahia. The Candomble religion came from Yoruba people of Nigeria. So you will get to know one Candomble temple, history of the orixas and more. After, we will connect with a Social project in the city giving back.  

Day 07    Beach, please !

We will take the road on the way to North of Salvador to reach out the motorboat that goes among the coast of Itacimirim beach, where the famous Brazilian navigator Amir Klink arrived after crossing the Atlantic ocean from Africa continent. During the low tide mask and snorkel are available for diving at the natural pools. On they way back to Fort beach you will enjoy a wild banana boat experience and for the real dare devils birds eye view from parasail!

Day 05    Freeday

Take your time to explore the city. Salvador has many treasures to be discovered! It’s your day to truly find your bliss.

Day 08     See you later, Salvador!

Our trip comes to an end after a hearty breakfast with friends we made during the trip. A full week of living and giving, reflecting on the beautiful memories captured.
